Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(e) On March 5, 2008 the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Broadcom Corporation established the annual base salaries of certain executive officers listed on Exhibit 10.1 hereto (the "Applicable Executive Officers"). The new base salaries for the Applicable Executive Officers will become effective April 4, 2008 and are listed in Exhibit 10.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
In addition, on March 5, 2008 the Compensation Committee awarded a cash bonus for 2007 performance to each of the Applicable Executive Officers under the
company’s Executive Officer Performance Bonus Plan. The bonuses for the Applicable Executive Officers are listed in Exhibit 10.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference. The bonuses will be paid on or before March 15, 2008.
