Item 8.01 Other Events.

On March 3, 3008, Yossi Cohen informed Broadcom Corporation of his resignation from the position of Senior Vice President & General Manager, Mobile Platforms Group, effective March 16, 2008. Mr. Cohen is leaving Broadcom voluntarily to serve as chief executive officer of a privately-held emerging company, and his departure from the company is an amicable one. Scott McGregor, Broadcom’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will temporarily assume additional responsibilities as the General Manager of the Mobile Platforms Group until a successor to Mr. Cohen has been appointed. A search has been commenced to find his successor.
