Item 5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 11, 2024, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Southern California Gas Company (the “Company”), a subsidiary of Sempra, appointed Sara P. Mijares to be the chief accounting officer of the
Company, a position currently held by Mia L. DeMontigny, effective May 11, 2024. Ms. DeMontigny will continue to serve as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the Company.
Ms. Mijares will continue to serve as vice president and controller of the Company, positions she has held since July 2022, and as assistant treasurer of the Company, a position she has held since April 2023. Previously, she served as vice president of accounting and finance of the
Company from August 2021 to July 2022 and as assistant controller of the Company from June 2020 to July 2022. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Mijares held various roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP since 2003.
In connection with her appointment as chief accounting officer of the Company, Ms. Mijares’ annual salary will be increased to $284,000, effective May 11, 2024.
