Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
Voya Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) is furnishing this Current Report on Form 8-K to disclose the assets under management (“AUM”) of its Investment Management
(“IM”) segment prior to the availability of the Company’s quarterly earnings release and quarterly financial supplement for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, scheduled for release on April 30, 2024.
As of March 31, 2024, AUM of the Company’s IM segment was $331 billion. AUM as of March 31, 2024 presented by asset type included $101 billion of equity assets, $134 billion of fixed income - public assets, $78 billion of fixed income - private assets, $16 billion of alternative assets, and $3 billion of money market assets. AUM as of March 31,
2024 included $148 billion of Institutional external client assets, $149 billion of Retail external client assets, and $34 billion of Company general account assets. External client assets are reported on a market value basis. General account assets are reported on a statutory book value billing basis consistent with revenues earned.
