Effective
February 22, 2018, Intersections Inc. (the
“Company”) terminated the employment of Johan J. Roets for
“cause,” pursuant to the terms of his Employment Agreement with
the Company dated
January 10, 2017, as amended on
December 6, 2017 (the
“Employment Agreement”). Mr. Roets had ceased serving as the Chief Executive Officer of
the Company effective as of
January 29, 2018. Mr. Roets remains a director of
the Company, although
the
Company has requested that Mr. Roets voluntarily resign immediately from
the Company’s Board of Directors. Under the terms of the Employment Agreement, Mr. Roets will not be paid any severance in connection with the termination of his employment for cause.
