Discussions between the Jacob Funds’s investment advisor, legal counsel, certified public accounting firm and fund administrator surrounding the treatment of capital loss carryforwards relating to a recently acquired fund that had sustained a single redemption of more than 60% of the Fund’s assets shortly after being acquired, resulted in the delay of the Jacob Funds annual report being approved, therefore, preventing the Funds’ N-SAR filing from being completed within the 60 day of fiscal year end required timeframe.

Such discussions have since concluded, and all parties have come to a consensus on the appropriate course of action to take within the annual report, allowing for authorization to file form N-SAR on October 31, 2013.
