Departure

On September 25, 2019, Gregory D. Williams notified National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (the “Company”) that he does not intend to stand for re-election as a director on the Board of Directors of the Company. Pursuant to the Company’s bylaws, Mr. Williams is eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms. Mr. Williams is expected to continue to serve as a director of the
Company until the end of his current term. Mr. Williams’ decision not to stand for re-election is for personal reasons and not because of a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
