Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 13, 2004, 3D Systems issued a press release announcing that it had settled its litigation in Japan with Hitachi Zosen Information Systems K.K. and, in a separate matter, that the Court in the patent litigation that 3D Systems commenced against Aaroflex, Inc. several years ago had granted 3D Systems’ March 2004 motion to dismiss the case without prejudice. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by this reference.
