(1)The price reported is a weighted average price for shares sold in multiple transactions ranging from $85.00 to $85.48, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to Columbia Sportswear Company, any security holder of Columbia Sportswear Company or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each separate price in the ranges set forth in footnotes (1) and (4) of this Form 4.
(2)As permitted by instruction 4(b)(iv) to Form 4, the reporting person is reporting all shares of common stock of Columbia Sportswear Company owned directly by the Gertrude Boyle Trust. As permitted by Rule 16a-1(a)(4) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the reporting person disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares except to the extent of her pecuniary interest therein, and the inclusion of such shares in this statement shall not be deemed an admission of beneficial ownership of all of such shares for purposes of Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or for any other purpose.
(3)The reporting person is the sole trustee of the Gertrude Boyle Trust, and beneficiaries of the Gertrude Boyle Trust include the reporting person and her children.
(4)The price reported is a weighted average price for shares sold in multiple transactions ranging from $86.00 to $86.50, inclusive.
(5)As permitted by instruction 4(b)(iv) to Form 4, the reporting person is reporting all shares of common stock of Columbia Sportswear Company owned directly by DSRA LLC. As permitted by Rule 16a-1(a)(4) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the reporting person disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares except to the extent of her pecuniary interest therein, and the inclusion of such shares in this statement shall not be deemed an admission of beneficial ownership of all of such shares for purposes of Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or for any other purpose.
(6)The reporting person is the manager of DSRA LLC, and the members of DSRA LLC include trusts for which the reporting person is the sole trustee and of which the beneficiaries are the reporting person's children.
