5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On July 13, 2023, Jessica K. Norman, Chief Legal Officer of Independence Realty Trust, Inc., resigned her position effective on or about September 8, 2023. Ms. Norman intends to provide an orderly transition of her duties through her resignation date before beginning a new opportunity outside of the multifamily sector.
Ms. Norman’s resignation is not because of a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the
Company’s operations, policies or practices.
