of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 30, 2022, American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company (the "Life Company") entered into an employment agreement with Ronald J. Grensteiner, effective July 1, 2022. As Life Company Vice Chairman, Mr. Grensteiner will impart advice and perspective from over 35 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Under the agreement, Mr. Grensteiner will earn salary at a $100,000 annual rate. He will also participate in generally-available employee benefit programs.
