This constitutes Amendment No. 7 (“Amendment No. 7”) to the Statement on Schedule 13D relating to the common stock (the “Common Stock”) of Diversicare Healthcare Services, Inc. f/k/a Advocat, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Issuer”), originally filed on behalf of Chad McCurdy and Marlin Capital Partners, LLC (“Marlin”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on April 9, 2009 (the “Statement”) and subsequently amended on May 20, 2009 by Amendment No. 1, on August
25, 2009 by Amendment No. 2, on December 11, 2009 by Amendment No. 3, on March 19, 2010 by Amendment No. 4, on March 30, 2010 by Amendment No. 5, and on August 10, 2011 by Amendment No. 6 (together, the “Schedule 13D”). Except as specifically amended hereby, this Amendment No. 7 does not modify any of the information previously reported in the Schedule 13D.
Item 4. Purpose of the Transaction
Item 4 of the Schedule 13D is hereby amended by adding the following at the end thereof:
The
purpose of this Amendment No. 7 is to report that since the filing of the last amendment, a material change occurred in the number of shares of Common Stock beneficially owned by Mr. McCurdy.
Item 5. Interest in Securities of the Issuer.
Item 5 of the Schedule 13D is hereby amended and restated in its entirety as follows:

Mr. McCurdy beneficially owns 19.3% of the Issuer’s Common Stock, or 1,177,767 shares of Common Stock, composed of 1,017,600 shares directly owned by Marlin Capital Partners, LLC, 14,200 shares owned through Mr. McCurdy’s IRA, 15,000 shares issuable on the exercise of options held by Mr. McCurdy, 125,000 shares owned jointly
by Mr. McCurdy and his wife, 5,000 shares owned by Mr. McCurdy’s dependent children, and 967 shares of personally owned shares (including restricted stock, unrestricted stock, and dividend equivalent rights on restricted stock). Marlin beneficially owns 16.7% of the Common Stock of the Issuer consisting of 1,017,600 shares of Common Stock held directly.

Mrs. McCurdy is a homemaker. Her address is 5429 LBJ Freeway, Suite 400, Dallas, Texas75240. During
the last five years, Mrs. McCurdy has not been convicted in a criminal proceeding (excluding traffic violations or similar misdemeanors). During the last five years, Mrs. McCurdy has not been a party to a civil proceeding of a judicial or administrative body of competent jurisdiction and as a result of such proceeding was or is subject to a judgment, decree or final order enjoining future violations of, or prohibiting or mandating activities subject to, federal or state securities laws or finding any violation with respect to such laws. She is a citizen of the United States.
In addition, Mr. McCurdy shares voting power and dispositive power with respect to 1,017,600 shares of Common Stock beneficially owned by Marlin, of which he is the Managing Partner.

12, 2013, Mr. McCurdy and his wife purchased 5,000 shares of Common Stock in an open market transaction at a price of $4.973 per share. On November 13, 2013, Mr. McCurdy and his wife purchased 7,900 shares of Common Stock in an open market transaction at a price of $5.029 per share. On November 14, 2013, Mr. McCurdy and his wife purchased 3,425 shares of Common Stock in an open market transaction at a price of $5.058 per share. On November 15, 2013, Mr. McCurdy and his wife purchased 3,675 shares of Common Stock in an open market transaction at a price of $5.167 per share.
