GAMCO Investors, Inc. (the "Company") was unable to file its annual report on Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2006 ("Form 10-K") with the Securities and Exchange Commission on a timely basis without unreasonable effort or expense because of unanticipated delays in finalizing footnote disclosure to its consolidated financial statements. Total revenues were $261.5 million in 2006, 3.2% higher than total revenues of $253.3 million in 2005. Net income for 2006 was $69.5 million or $2.40 per fully diluted share versus $63.5 million or $2.10 per fully diluted share for 2005.
