On March 29, 2024, Gannett Co., Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has nominated Maha Al-Emam as an independent director nominee to stand for election at its 2024 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. A copy of the press release announcing Al-Emam’s nomination is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
