5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On February 3, 2021, Scott A. Anderson was appointed as principal accounting officer of KAR Auction Services, Inc. (the “Company”), effective March 1, 2021. Mr. Anderson will assume responsibility as principal accounting officer from Eric M. Loughmiller, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and he will continue to report to Mr. Loughmiller. Mr. Anderson has served as Vice President and Controller of the Company since 2007, and previously served
as Controller of ADESA, Inc. from 2001 to 2007 (serving in the principal accounting officer role from 2004 to 2007).
