8.01. Other Events.
On March 10, 2021, American Water Works Company, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Bruce A. Hauk, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Company, has elected to resign from this position and any and all other positions with the Company’s subsidiaries. His resignation of employment with the Company will be effective March 12, 2021. Since becoming Deputy Chief Operating Officer on March 1, 2021, Mr. Hauk
had no longer been serving as an executive officer of the Company.
