Item 5.02

Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 14, 2022, Jose Torres, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, notified Illumina, Inc. (the “Company”) that he will be leaving the Company effective as of October 14, 2022. This departure is not the result of any disagreement on matters relating to the Company’s operations or its financial reporting, policies, or practices.
