5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 10, 2019, Christian Cerda notified iRobot Corporation (the “Company”) of his decision to resign, effective immediately, as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) to pursue other career opportunities. Mr. Cerda is expected to remain employed by the Company until September 30, 2019, to ensure orderly transition of his responsibilities. With the recent addition of a Chief Product Officer, the COO role will be eliminated. The
Company has also engaged an executive search firm and begun the process of recruiting for a Chief Commercial Officer, a newly-created position with global responsibility for sales, marketing and customer support.
