Item 8.01               Other Events.

 

On November 3, 2011, the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of six cents per share of common stock payable to shareholders of record as of December 5, 2011. The dividend will be payable December 19, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
