The Registrant’s Form N-CEN for the period ended December 31, 2023 could not be filed within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense because additional time is needed to review and confirm certain information contained within the filing, primarily annuity contract exchanges under IRC code 1035 both into and out of the separate account. The Registrant anticipates that the Form N-CEN filing for the period ended December 31, 2023 will be filed no later than 15 calendar days from the original due date.
