Other Events

On August 24, 2022, ESSA Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it would make a payment of a cash dividend of $0.15 per share of common stock. The dividend will be paid to stockholders of record as of September 16, 2022, payable on September 30, 2022.

A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
