Item 7.01

Regulation FD Disclosure.

On October 3, 2022, Illumina, Inc. (the “Company”) hosted an Investor Day event, including a live webcast presentation and Q&A session. During the event, the current number of high throughput customers was inaccurately cited as 1,500. The intended and correct reference is that the total installed base of NovaSeq instruments as of the end of Illumina’s second fiscal quarter of 2022 is more than 1,700.
