Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 21, 2016, Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, and Chairman of Fox Television Stations, has resigned from his role effective immediately. Rupert Murdoch, Executive Chairman of the Company, will assume the role of Chairman and acting CEO of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
A copy of the press release issued by the Company is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
