(1) Shares of Class B Common Stock acquired pursuant to the Restricted Stock Unit Award Agreement between the Reporting Person and Kimball International Inc.

(2) The Restricted Stock Units convert on a one-for-one basis into shares of Class B Common Stock.

(3) Represents Restricted Stock Units granted on 7/31/20 and vest on 6/30/23 (5,923 shares).

(4) Expiration of Restricted Stock Units is dependent upon the terms of the employment agreement if the reporting person ceases employment for any reason other than death, retirement or total permanent disability.

(5) Not Applicable.

(6) Represents Restricted Stock Units which vest on 6/30/21 (4,358 shares), 6/30/22 (4,976 shares) and 6/30/23 (5,923 shares).
