On March 23, 2020, Mary Sue Patchett, Executive Vice President - Community Operations of Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (the "Company") assumed the role of Executive Vice President - Strategic Operations, reporting to Cindy Kent, the Company's Executive Vice President and President of Senior Living. In her new role, Ms. Patchett will have responsibility for the Company’s senior living portfolio segmentation initiative, integrated health care strategy, strategic accounts relationships, innovation efforts and sustainability initiatives. She also continues to lead the Company’s COVID-19 emergency response command center. Ms. Kent has assumed responsibility for the Company’s senior living operations. Lucinda M. (“Cindy”) Baier, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, remains the Company’s principal operating officer.
