São Paulo, July 7, 2020 – Azul S.A., “Azul”, (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL) announces today its preliminary traffic results for June 2020.

Consolidated passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 43.6% compared to May 2020 on a capacity increase (ASKs) of 37.1%, resulting in a load factor of 75.5%, up 3.5 percentage points. Domestic load factor was 75.7% and international load factor was 74.3%.

“Domestic RPKs increased 47.0% in June compared to May following the gradual lift in restrictions and returning passenger demand. We ended the month with 168 daily flights on peak days to 57 cities, and we will keep this momentum going. In July we expect to fly 240 peak day departures to 72 cities and in August we will have 303 peak day departures to 80 cities”, said John Rodgerson, Azul’s CEO.

Azul S.A. (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL), the largest airline in Brazil by number of flight departures and cities served, offers 916 daily flights to 116 destinations. With an operating fleet of 140 aircraft and more than 13,000 crewmembers, the Company has a network of 249 non-stop routes as of December 31, 2019. One-fare paying passenger transported one kilometer. RPK is calculated by multiplying the number of revenue passengers by the number of kilometers flown.
