On October 17, 2018, Borqs Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company ranked as one of the top 3 mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) in China for the third consecutive year by CCIDCOM, a China-based leading telecom information portal operated by the China Electronic Information Industry Development and Research Institute. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
