On July 8, 2020, BioSig Technologies, Inc. and its majority-owned subsidiary, ViralClear Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“ViralClear”), issued a press release announcing that ViralClear is partnering with Albany Molecular Research Inc. (AMRI) for support in undertaking research to investigate the potential of merimepodib to fight SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, either as a standalone treatment or in combination with other anti-viral agents or immune modulators. A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
