could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

 

Hexindai Inc. (the “Company”) is unable, without unreasonable effort or expense, to file its Annual Report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020 (the “Form 20-F”) by July 31, 2020 (the "Prescribed Filing Date") due to constraints on the Company and its personnel resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company is in the process of compiling the information to be included in the Form 20-F, as well as the completion of the required review of the Company’s financial information, none of which could be completed by the Prescribed Filing Date without incurring undue hardship and expenses. The Company anticipates that it will file the Form 20-F no later than the fifteenth calendar day following the Prescribed Filing Date.
